We all went to the Kenosha County Farm Breakfast yesterday and had a great time. We arrived around 7:00 a.m. to find thd line was all ready long to get to the food....but that is almost a good thing since while standing in line they have helpers walking past with all kinds of goodies to sample.
After the fantastic breakfast we walked all around and saw lots of families walking around exploring with their children and everyone looked as if they were having a great time.
I think the most awesome few minutes took place when they started to play the National Anthem and the entire crowd stood still and became quiet. Everywhere you looked around by the barns, in the field, up by the house, up the small hill, people standing with such a proud look on their face while looking toward the flag that was waving.
Afterwards my daughter commented that she was so amazed to see so many people in one place become so quiet that she actually could hear the birds singing near her.
I really would like to send a thank you out to the family that hosted the Farm Breakfast this year, you did an excellent job!
