I've done lists like this before, so before I start: maybe I'm easily bothered, but sometimes it seems like people don't think.
1: People constantly whining about gas prices. There is news stories daily about the rising prices, and gas companies making huge profits. The fact of this matter is: people certainly need to car pool, use public transportation, walk, bike (not motorcycle: regular bikes) to save money alot more... but they don't. This brings me to my next point...
2: All this worry about global warming. People act like it's a new threat, and all that. But this is old, as we (as a world) pollute and damage the Earth way too much. If people would do simple things like recycle, reduce and reuse more: that would help fix the problem. Landfills shouldn't be stuffed with things that could be easily recycled.
3: Loud cars that make your car vibrate (and just loud noise in general). Give me a break, stop this noise pollution already. Just because you like loud music: doesn't mean everyone else nearby should be forced to hear it. From some recent news reports: there is some progress on stopping noise pollution. So hopefully it leads to bigger things, because this garbage needs to stop.
4: A mom on her phone in a store, ignoring her kid/kids. Get off the dang phone and tend to your kid! People act like cell phones are a part of their body at times, as they are on it constantly. Granted: some calls are important, alot of the times they arent...and it's just a social call. The world was a much better place before cellphones, in my opinion. Now it's just horrible: with all the annoying ringtones, people talking loudly and so on.
That's all I can think of now, I'll post more later.
There must be something more going on here than is evident. Otherwise, contacting a lawyer over internet forum posts means you either have too much time on your hands, too much money or both.
You want to claim ownership to my posts? I don't care.

 Cracked Bobber, you have obviusly NOT spoken with a lawyer, because you do not own the rights to anything you posted on a public forum. This forum has a right to kick any one off it chooses and needs no reason.
Further more, I own and operate a public forum too. Leaving your posts has nothing to do with post counts. Who really cares that much over a number? There just is no reason to remove the ones that were not offensive, and it would likly offend someone who the "board" reluctently had to remove even further. If you don't like the forum, or your views greatly clash with the owner and his Mod's and even his members, PLEASE just go away. I am sure there is someplace on the internet where people like yourself hang out, go there and make some friends. :?

I KNOW YOU WOULD NOT BE HAPPY IF YOUR NAME WAS USED ON OTHER FORUMS OR SOMEONE CLAIMING TO BE YOU
If you are the ex-member I think you are, then you should try looking again....your name is clearly not being 'used' as you are so screaming in your ranting post. Your name was removed, and in it's place was the term formerusers or something like that.
The minute you decided to become a member and start posting comments. you accepted the fact that the forum of which you hit the submit button will then display your comment. You then gave permission for the site owners to edit or delete your post as they feel is necessary. I believe at the point of hitting the submit button was the point of no return on your comment that you willingly submitted on the open forum.
Everyone knows, even someone like you that the whole idea and concept of a forum is to 'share' knowledge and ideas with other members. This is the entire concept of the forum. When participating as you have done you there for had other members 'build' on your comments. By removing your comments you will then upset the entire forum topic which is uncalled for and wrong. You knew what you were doing when you became a forum topic poster.
If for whatever reason you now want 'revenge' on the site by requesting your 'comment's be removed is not only unfair to other members that posted their comments trusting that your comment was just it is also very petty and wrong in my thoughts. Shame on you.
I'm pretty sure I already posted this somewhere else but whatever, I'll say it again. NUMEROUS former members over several years have been lumped into "FormerUsers". This includes a few users who had forgotten they registered and came back later. Deleting posts, particularly if it's the first post of a topic, screws up the threading in the forum software. For a few posts, like spam, it's not enough to be worth keeping the posts. For non-offensive posts, they're staying because I'm not dealing with the mess that happens when the threading gets screwed up. Deal.
Particularly, we've deleted a good number of posts that were just plagiarization of information from elsewhere with little to no citation. There are still a LOT of them to ferret out, more than a thousand by my estimation.
Also particularly, we will not tolerate any member being sworn at by anyone. Period. That is the swift route to membership deletion. Again.
Now, I know you decided to come in and do this now because Keith and a lot of the mods are gone at the Camping Trip and you think you can get away with something. Think again. I may have quit as primary webmaster but I'm still quite capable of deleting people if necessary, and there are plenty of other mods who aren't in the Dells this weekend who are quite capable of deleting posts if they feel it necessary.
If I have to step in again I'm going to start locking/deleting posts and members.
