j10asen is on a distinguished road
did you see that am moon?

the day started out the same old way
a cup of coffee the news of the day
the weather man told me is was cold as sin
anyone aged should not venture out but stay in
a crash, a house burnt, a fratured soul
too many lost, the war has it's toll
I head down the road, the same old way
the traffic was light maybe it will be a good day
the radio is silenced, the cell phone is it's tray
off to work to earn my pay
off in the distance, a glimmer of light
a sliver of the moon, what a delight
a vertical smile,a remarkable sight
everything seemed to be just right...

missed it. I go out very early with the dogs and usually check for the moon. Numerous times I will run back for my camera and make the kids wait for breakfast lol so I can go out in the back yard and try to capture the image through the branches of the trees, or with cool clouds rolling over, or because it is large, or bright. I've been known to even drop and run during dinner to the lake and take pics of the moon in the evening over the Lake.

I do notice however that the moon is something I can't seem to capture it's beauty on a photo anywhere near what it looks like when just viewing it. Must be somthing I have to learn yet. Any suggestions?

I find myself in the same place, sometimes it's luck, sometimes equipment restrictions, but most of the time the essences of what you are trying to capture is in your minds eyes and will not be recorded on film/digograph. In that case a 1000 words are priceless a photograph is worth one word= "darn"

Hey I think I came up with a new word

"digograph": the method of caputuring a picture digitally.

Exactly. Thank you for putting it all in words that makes such sense. So many times I 'see' a beautiful picture only to be disappointed with the outcome of the photo even if when it turns out good. It's still not quite what I had in my 'mind's eye'. That's it!

I noticed that you always seem to have the words for what I'm thinking or what I'm wondering about. lol
