The 'white' is caused by light reflecting of the crystalline structure of the frozen water particles. When it melts, the structure no longer exists, and it cannot reflect light in the same way.

I think there is a speed of smell and it seems to be faster and more powerful when one is in a confined space with another who has gas. The effect is particularly amplified in the little cages that take you to the top of the arch in St. Louis.

oh yeah, and btw, i read the whole thing about rotten eggs falling from the top of the arch in st.Louis, and i would appreciate it if you didn't mess with the few moments of innocence i had as a child. i could have gone the rest of my life believing it was all about a huge pile of raw egg and been fine with it.
its kinda funny to think about a bunch of guys trying to super glue a raw egg back together.
