This case has astonished me for a very LONG time. Just when you think it will be done something else comes up. I am sure those papers in the grocery store will be filled with the truth again.
a long time ago Bob Dylan wrote a song
"the lonesome death of Hattie Carrol"
....."Oh, but you who philosophize disgrace and criticize all fears,
Bury the rag deep in your face
For now's the time for your tears"......................................
Bob Dylan
Now why on Earth would you write a book like that? I mean, really. It's as much as saying "I really did this but I got the best acquittal money could buy! Nyah nyah nyah nyah nyaaaaaaah nyah! Mwahahahahahah!!"
I don't have any opinions on his guilt one way or the other because I refused to watch that farce, which was tough because I was sick and bedridden most of that year so most of what I did was watch tv or read and it was impossible to get away from. But the court found him "not guilty", so I guess he can't be prosecuted now even if he said "I did it" not just "this is how I _would_ have done it, if I had done it, which I didn't."
he must be broke and trying to scrape up a way to make a few bucks. Can't believe people would actually waste their money buying this farce of a book though.
Go figure what people will come up with for attention. :?
O.J. Simpson’s book and TV special were canceled Monday, an astonishing end to an imaginary confession that had sickened the public as the very worst kind of tabloid sensation.“I and senior management agree with the American public that this was an ill-considered project,” said Rupert Murdoch, whose News Corp. owns both Fox Broadcasting and publisher HarperCollins. “We are sorry for any pain that this has caused the families of Ron Goldman and Nicole Brown Simpson.”
“If I Did It,” in which Simpson was to have described how he would have killed his ex-wife, had been scheduled to air as a two-part interview Nov. 27 and Nov. 29 on Fox. The book was to have followed on Nov. 30.
