Peanut Butter & Oatmeal Banana Bread
Ingredients
  • listed
Preparation
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray 2 8x4 loaf pans with cooking spray
Instructions
  1. Cream together in large bowl
  2. 4 ripe bananas
  3. 1/3 c. honey
  4. ½ c. chunky peanut butter
  5. 3 eggs
  6. 1 tsp. vanilla
  7. ½ c. brown sugar
  8. Mix together in separate bowl
  9. 1 ½ c. flour
  10. ½ tsp baking soda
  11. 1 ½ tsp baking powder
  12. pinch of salt
  13. 2 tsp cinnamon
  14. ½ tsp ginger
  15. 1 ½ c oatmeal
  16. Combine wet and dry ingredients and mix well. Divide between the 2 loaf plans and bake for 45 min. – 1 hour.
  17. Let set in pans for 10 min. remove bread from pans and cool on a rack.

Peanut Butter & Oatmeal Banana Bread

Cream together in large bowl
4 ripe bananas
1/3 c. honey
½ c. chunky peanut butter

Mix together in separate bowl
1 ½ c. flour

Think I will have to try this one when baking this winter. (I have not yet turned my oven on since may)....but this sounds really yummy.

Wow Carol, I just noticed you first posted this exactly a year ago. And I still have yet to make it!

Glad it was brought back up again so I can put it on my list of things to do. Sounds really good. Reminds me a little of an Oatmeal Cake I use to make.

This is a good reminder to all of us to check out the old forum topics besides just the newer ones. Lots of good stuff in the past to look at too.

This is a beautiful recipe for bread because I'd been looking for so long a recipe like these. I'll try to bake it one day when I have a free day in my busy day.
