Taste of Europe Newsletter - Thanksgiving 2009

For The Bubbler Readers!
Usually I write a short blurb at the beginning of each newsletter. It is sent out to people who signed up at my old coffeehouse in Delavan when we were a busy and popular hang out. By now the shop doors are closed but the business reigns and our creative spirit never ends. One of my goals is to re open the shop in Delavan one day. If you would like free advertising just send an email with your message and I'll add it to the next one and add you to our mailing list.
Thanks!
Judy

This woman-owned business is offering the finest in artisan and specialty cheeses and specialty foods that are complementary to cheese. Enter Brick Street Market and you might feel like you've been transported to a lovely little French bistro. Stop by and meet the owner, Laura! I had the most delightful lunch a couple weeks ago, with a most interesting woman I had just met there. She invited me to sit with her. Magical things happen in that old part of town, I tell ya! And by the way, lunch was absolutely delicious! I will definitely go again.

Poet's Corner:
(Hey, if nobody sends one in, I get to post mine)
Delavan's Fortune
Sounds now faded from dim past
Hold memories dear, once made to last
Of circus tales and days of old,
Then full of life - now stories told.
The town of Delavan contains
A host of treasures down its lanes
Look around, do you not see?
Shadowy visage of what can be?
Time gone by will not erase
Ghosts from an age that all may face
Though, when this town again displays
The dream its founders prayed for days -
Creating future made to last?
Yes!
Delavan’s fortune derives from its past.
