Birds are fun to watch. I especially like watching them maneuver in flight. Both wild, and tamed (caged) birds.
I can see where the design for fighter airplanes comes from. Even transport airplanes resemble certain birds, such as the pigeon/dove.
I had a pet cockatiel that I'd allow to fly around my apartment.I noticed he used his craw as a flight control surface. He'd do barrel rolls, loops, flips...very entertaining.

All my birds are full flight. I tell everyone when they hear the macaw flying they need to just duck down. He will not change his flight pattern, he will crash into you.......he does give a warning scream as he gets close to you.
