Re: Pigeon Keeper?
No pigeons here.
Fella down the road has several pigeons.
They probably stay away from my area because of the raccoons????
How many pigeons do you have?

Re: Pigeon Keeper?
Yes I have pigeons, I have raised & raced Homing Pigeons for a little over 40 years. It is a wonderful hobby I would like to see more people involved in. My two son's refer to it as the worlds most secret hobby, in case no one is aware during the spring, well into the fall there is a pigeon race going on every weekend all over this country, in Begium & the Netherlands it is the National sport. Those little birds are a wonder, they manage to find their way home from hundreds of miles away. They served in both World War 1&2 and lately were sent to Irac.

Re: Pigeon Keeper?
Your birds are doing Good, I finished painting my Loft this weekend, have an old Photo of my loft along with this. I have to figure out the Trap for the loft & the nest Boxes. I'm puting in the perches like you use. Think i'm going with Milk crate nests too, I found a place were i can get them. Your birds look alot better than mine do. there feathers are really tight compaired to mine, what I have could be feral crosses or bad strain. I'm deffinetly going to keep your Birds pure, not planning on crosing them with mine. "Thanks for The Birds & the info."

No problem, Brian, anytime you need help, you know where I am. The loft looks great by the way. As I told you before, should you ever want to compete with pigeons let me know & we can set you up.
