I am in Brians shop at least every other week, and this somehow slipped by me. I am so sorry to hear this, Brian and the workers there are wonderful people. I hope they recover these birds soon and safely!!
How sad that people have to go that low! It's ashame.

I agree.....very sad people have to do things like this. Let Brian know we have the word out and many many people are helping look for these birds.
Prayers they are recovered safely

I will let Brian and his crew know the words out, and thanks for posting this cause like I said before, somehow this just slipped by be, I've been pretty busy lately ( nothing new!).

I hope that Brian's parrots had ID tag bans around the ankles? This is truly a shame; I wish the perpetrators had taken the petty cash instead of these expensive and precious animals. My question is how was it no one saw or heard this happening; I mean taking 5 birds is kind of hard to miss. Since they would have been petrified and would have screamed from being woken up in the middle of the night. Might I add Amazons are large parrots? I hope that those who did this got their fingers bitten off!

It was on the news tonight, so hopefully this will speed up things, to get the birds back.
As I recall, I believe at least one of these birds were on consignment, through Brian, maybe more ??

I missed it. But glad to hear it was on the news.
Has there been any update since it hit the TV news??
I htought I saw a African Grey, dead on the side of the road yesterday. So I hit the breaks and put it in reverse. Stop in the middle of the road and go to aid this african grey, thinking I'll get it's ID number and contact the owners. Well......................... it was a dead bird alright. But not a CAG. It was a pigeon with bloody tail feathers.
I'm glad it was not a CAG. I know of several right now that are missing.
Yesterday I went to Brian's and was sad to find out he is closing his store, here in GB. I believe he will still be breeding. I was told all but 1 of the birds were on consignment. This is really sad for me, I love going in there and looking and playing with the birds as well as buying bird toys there. He will be a a few shows before the store closes for good.
