I agree. But I am too much of a "homer" to poo poo the team just yet. If you are young enough to think back to the '82 team, there was very little buzz about that team early in the season. It did not take long for eyes to open, but still.
Hoping it is too early to tell yet. I think alot depends on if Sheets stays healthy.
I also like Bill Hall in centerfield. Just feels right.

Opening day is a magic time. Anyone could be the champions. I've barely been able to follow March madness and now the season opener is sneaking up on us!
Don't know enough to tell, but some old-timers I know (Land o' Lakes Baseball Hall of Famers) say the team looks good on paper. I'll go with their judgement and say they be 500-plus ~ and hopefully more!
The buzz before the beginning of the season was Brewers all the way...So far, the predictions are proving true.
As the standings are at this time, Milwaukee is on top of their division with a 18-9 record.
A young team, that's beginning to gel.
