Ashland and Bayfield counties of Wisonsin share an animal control facility. We are made up of two animal control officers (one for the city of Ashland, the other for the rural areas of Ashland and Bayfield counties).
We're a relatively small facility usually housing ~15-20 cats and ~10 dogs. There are lotsof wonderful things about our facility; two being that we tend to get a lot of smaller dogs and we almost always have kittens!
Lots of the animals on our page are from private homes that have either privately rescued these animals or, due to extenuating circumstaces, can no longer keep them. We do not accept owner surrenders, but we are dedicated to trying to find all needy animals homes.
