Northland College in Ashland County looks like a good school.

A Mission of Sustainability
The biggest freshwater lake in the world. A million acres of national forest. Bald eagles, black bear, white-tail deer. One of the oldest mountain ranges in the world. This is home to Northland College and more than nine hundred people who make the College what it is.
In many ways — from outdoor classes to internships in the community — our home helps define who we as individuals are. By the same token, our individual actions help define our home. Northland College takes this responsibility to home to heart. Folllow the links below to explore how the College's students, faculty and staff explore, define, and care for their connections to northern Wisconsin and the rest of the planet.
SCHOLARSHIPS
The scholarships pages have quite a bit of info. Sounds like graduating high school students can get a 50 to 100 percent tuition for a year or more simply by being in the top 15 % of their class.
I hope to visit.
