Bacon Wrapped Chestnuts

Ingredients
  • 8 oz. can water chestnuts, cut in half
  • Bacon slices, cut in half
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 mayo
  • 1/4 cup chili sauce
Preparation
No prior preparation is required.
Instructions
  1. Wrap half of bacon slice around each chestnut half and secure with toothpick. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 min. Drain grease from pan and cool. Combine brown sugar, mayo and chili sauce. Pour over chestnuts and bake for 20 min. at 350 degrees.

Bacon Wrapped Chestnuts, love em but people eat em faster than you can make em lol.

I make these a couple times a year. What I do is soak the chestnuts in soy sauce for awhile, wrap them with bacon and bake. Then watch them disappear faster than you can blink your eye lol.

I'll have to try the brown sugar, that sounds good.

I've made the recipe a few times. I got it from my mom who made these sometimes for Xmas eve.
