Re: toast
I'm really glad I found this recipe. Sometimes, when I want something different for breakfast, and think, "Toast...wouldn't it be great to have some toast". I now can rely on the recipe section of theBubbler, and great chefs like Andy to ascertain a well rounded, and nutritional breakfast.
Thanks

Re: toast
I greatly enjoyed toast for breakfast.
Later in the day, but earlier than now, I used toast as part of a meatloaf sandwich. I was delicious.
Toast; it's not just for breakfast anymore.

Camping toast
I use out tabletop gas grill. I can get 4 slices on at the same time.
Toast the bread brown, flip and butter toasted side, removed when fully toasted and the butter soaks in perfectly. mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
Does that make you want to have some now?

Re: toast
Stoney knows toast.
Eloquently put, my friend.
A side note...toast is not good with tar or marbles.

So true. Actually breakfast of eggs and toast isn't just for mornings anymore. One of my favorite dinners after a long day and I'm to tired to cook anything big is a good plate of eggs and toast. Makes the end of the day delicious.
One more thought; my son loves when I take the bread and toast it in the frying pan with the left over grease from frying eggs. Leave it in the pan for a few minutes and it comes out nicely toasted with a great taste. | |
