Re: toast

I'm really glad I found this recipe. Sometimes, when I want something different for breakfast, and think, "Toast...wouldn't it be great to have some toast". I now can rely on the recipe section of theBubbler, and great chefs like Andy to ascertain a well rounded, and nutritional breakfast.
Thanks

Re: toast

I greatly enjoyed toast for breakfast.

Later in the day, but earlier than now, I used toast as part of a meatloaf sandwich. I was delicious.

Toast; it's not just for breakfast anymore.

I use out tabletop gas grill. I can get 4 slices on at the same time.
Toast the bread brown, flip and butter toasted side, removed when fully toasted and the butter soaks in perfectly. mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Re: toast

Stoney knows toast.

Eloquently put, my friend.

A side note...toast is not good with tar or marbles.

So true. Actually breakfast of eggs and toast isn't just for mornings anymore. One of my favorite dinners after a long day and I'm to tired to cook anything big is a good plate of eggs and toast. Makes the end of the day delicious.

One more thought; my son loves when I take the bread and toast it in the frying pan with the left over grease from frying eggs. Leave it in the pan for a few minutes and it comes out nicely toasted with a great taste.
