Great American Moose Fest
There is a great opportunity for children to have a chance to fish under the direction of one of theTEN professional fisherman! These fishing pros are donating their time to teach kids to fish on Buffalo Lake during "Moosefest" activities being held in Montello on May 1 and 2. The free "Kids Fish with the Pros" runs from 8-4 on SaturdayMay 1 and SundayMay2. Please register now at Holliday True Value in Montello to receive your time slot for this great ( and FREE) opportunity. Walk-in registration on the day of the event will be available but space is limited. These fishing professionals are licensed guides and professional tournament anglers and will be signing autographs and allowing photos at no charge. The fishing professionals will be setting out onto the lake at Krakow Park above the Fox River Dam and west of the parking lot next to Rendezvous Paddle and Sports. Those that have received a time slot are encouraged to show up at the event one hour before their scheduled fishing time. If you have your own life jacket feel free to bring It but there will also be life jackets available at the event. In addition the professional fisherman will provide all tackle and equipment. We encourage you to take the time and allow your child to participate in this event. It isn't every day that a child can say they fished with the pros on Buffalo lake.
