ASSE maintains 38 offices in 31 countries and accommodates more than 30,000 high school age students and host families annually in its programs in the participating countries.

Just imagine the endless possibilities whether you host an exchange student or you’re to be the international visitor to another world. Wow, a whole new culture!
This is a wonderful program; some of my best of friendships over the years was established when they arrived to Wisconsin. My family didn’t host but we did establish dear friendships thanks to my father being a main faculty member at Valders High School; which is a member of the International Exchange Program. The year we had to get to know them wasn’t enough time for all the cherished memories. But now, even after so many years apart with the aid of E-Mail and telephones we are just as excited to hear from them as the days gone past.
