5-23-07 PUBLIC HEARING Environment and Natural Resources
Hello:
Next Wednesday at 10 am, the Senate Natural Resources Committee will be holding a public hearing on a bill that is critically important to all sportsmen and women in Wisconsin. Senate Bill 15 restores the authority of the Natural Resources to appoint the DNR Secretary. This has been one of the highest priorities for the conservation community for many years and finally it is making some movement in the legislature.
Please attend the hearing in Room 400 South East in the State Capitol and either testify or register in support of this bill. I have attached a copy of the bill and the public notice for the hearing. If at all possible, register or speak on behalf of a conservation organization.
Please let me know if you will be able to attend. It is critical that a large number of hunters, anglers and trappers attend this hearing.
Thank you, George
