I searched 'myspace' for Wisconsin musicians, and invited a few. I see a couple that registered. There's a lot more out there. I'm looking to have a polka maestro to contribute.
WisMusic - our Wisconsin Music site - jump started last 3 days
We still had only about 195 Members at WisMusic at 21 months old.
We've added 60+ members in the last 3 days, to about 255, nearly a one-third increase!

Why? That's what I'd like to know. Here are the improvements:
Dave (dgridley) has been posting a lot of events and forum posts, cleaning up junk and digging the site.
Mike added vBseo, a search engine optimizer for the forum software, and added embedded video for the forum posts by pasting a simple link.
We promoted the site here at theBubbler a bit more, and Dave gave the site some great backlinks from places like NamePros.
I hope we keep doing whatever it is that's re-jump-starting the site.

While all the new members are great, folks still aren't posting much. Hopefully they'll come around.
I'd be remiss in these observations if I didn't thank our own Stoney ~ the leading poster at WisMusic for most of it's life, and the most-spirited poster of prose for all of it's life.
