CONFIRMED CASE OF H1N1 VIRUS IN ADAMS COUNTY WISCONSIN
Adams County health officials have received notice from the State Department of Health that the probable case of flu has been confirmed as the H1N1 virus.
Public Health Officer Linda McFarlin, states the adult male has recovered and is feeling well.
“The findings confirm the H1N1 virus is active in Wisconsin and people should continue to take precautions to protect themselves against the spread of influenza,” said Dr. Seth Foldy, State Health Officer. “We have informed Governor Doyle of these confirmations and numbers are expected to grow as we continue to monitor the situation statewide.”
Adams County health officials are working to limit the spread of the virus. We encourage individuals to continue to practice personal protection measures.
