I have a pet peeve. Sale people that disrespect when a young adult is trying to ask a question.
I had my teen son, high school student, as tall as I am, go up to the sales lady to ask if we could get some help on something I was looking at. She continued to help others adults around him, and they in turn pushed him aside. He was getting no where.
I had to go up to the lady and within a minute had her attention and got her to not only answer me, but get the manager for further assistance. My son just looked at me and said, well, so that's how it's done.

He then wanted to know if businesses could get in trouble for child discrimination.
He felt that way because at the same store, (store going out of business, everything marked way down), he asked the same sales lady earlier if they would take a lower price on something I was looking at. She told him no. That was that. When I asked the same sales lady she right away told me a maybe and when talking to the manager she sent over he offered to take the half price off down to much less.
That was just wrong.
