Are they posting it for a critique? Otherwise if they don't ask for one, people shouldn't be giving one. I know this from my design forum. If you want a critique you have to ask for it. Also, a critique should be constructive and offering ways to improve. If someone just says it sucks or it's stupid that isn't helping anyone.
Usually the ones that say something sucks can't even do better. That goes for a lot of things. Those types just like to get under other's skin.
I also think that if someone asks for an opinion and then argues with everyone who is truly trying to help then why bother asking. I've seen that, too.
