Re: D.U.F.F. Club - Central Wisconsin Home Brewing Club
Well, it's been a year or more since this thread's beginning; I'm still around and the D.U.F.F. brew club is as well, sorry for the delay in replying. We have been having meetings this summer at member's homes and the August meeting is coming up in a little over a week. I try to post the location on D.U.F.F. sites.
We did a 'monster brew' this spring and we will be doing more of that, maybe in November? In May, we made about 60 gallons of wort one Saturday, split it up with members for about $1.00 a gallon and then we all boiled, hopped, and used different yeasts to complete the beer-making process... What an interesting experiment! Some tasted like crap and some is excellent! I have some that I consider excellent, a lager, that I need to get bottled or kegged.
Flounce... that was the Sir-name of my dog, August Bouncy Flounce! She was killed this spring. I wrote about it on one of my blogs: But I can't seem to post the link... war on forum spam, just look up 'August Bouncy Flounce' and it's in the 'August house' blog second link on this search .. but I like the explanation - fluid once!
Anyway, sorry I was gone so long. I used to hate coming to the Bubbler cause it took so long to load, I had dial-up. Now I have Wild-blue, which still sucks but the pages load faster. I'll try to stop by more often. Have a great evening!
