Employers that call you or interview to get your hopes up or make promises and don't keep them. Ones that don't let you know the status of the job after you interviewed with them. I've had places that won't even return a call when you ask if they made a decision yet. What's so hard about saying a yes or no to the question. I think you have the right to know what's going on after the interview and should be treated just as good as they would a client. When places blow you off or are rude, why would you want to work for them?
Recruiters that you have to keep calling all the time to remind them to find you a job. They gladly take your resume and make you spend all this time filling out online info or other paperwork, then completely ignore you. This isn't just now with this economy, but even in the past it has been bad. I've dealt with a number of job placement agencies and I can't say I recommend a single one. Manpower was about the only one and didn't forget about me.
Can you tell I'm fed up with the whole job hunt thing today?
