See now that's what I love hearing. No i was not brain washed by the public school system. I do not attend a public school. I go to a college prep school, and we are taught very differently. One day they will tell us all the flaws and benefits of using coal and other fossil fuels and the next day they will do the same about renewable. I loved you sharing your side of the argument, I always love these little challenges because there is always so much more to learn about each.
The government is only playing off the whole global warming thing because they think that is keeping the problem under control. Yes this topic has the tendency to get into very heated debates and that's why the government is trying to make us believe that everything is turning around when I personally believe it is not.
I have thought long and hard with it and after having a discussion with some one with a PH.D I have began to think maybe we should let people believe its all a hoax, they will continue to use up all of our gas until there is no more and then they will have no other option if they want to continue living to use renewable energy systems.
Here is just one of my examples on why I believe that all around renewable sources such as the solar panels are better than natural gas.
Solar power does not have to go through a chemical change whereas Natural gas does.
Natural gas starts off as CH4 and 2O2. after the chemical reaction takes place turns into CO2 and 2H2O. (For those of you who may not understand the chemical equation just preformed. Natural gas starts of with a mixture of Methane and two molecules of oxygen, after the reaction takes place it gives us carbon DIOXIDE and 2 molecules of water) If the chemical reaction is perfect it will be very clean burning and wont harm us, but if the chemical reaction is imperfect it will produce Carbon Monoxide, which as everyone knows is lethal.
The good thing about Solar energy is, is the fact that you do not have to worry about chemical changes.
