I once gave a skunk my breakfast.
Driving to work a few years ago (when I used to work for someone) there was a skunk in the opposite lane eating some road kill.
I turned around and shooed the skunk off the road so it too would not become road kill....turned back around to head to work and there it was back on the road eating.
So I shooed it off the road for the second time and then tossed it my donuts I had just picked up at the gas station. It stayed in the field and ate those instead. I was then comfortable enough to drive away....and very happy coming home to see NO dead skunk on the road.
