I'd generally prefer to see the fetus brought to term, delivered, and then adopted out if possible. I don't really believe in the "oops, made a mistake!" form of abortion.. rape, incest, and danger to the health of the mother are criteria I'd think could warrant abortion.
However, my mom had a terrible pregnancy with me and at one point was bleeding so badly the doctors said if she didn't stop they would have to "take" me.. next morning she stopped bleeding and here I am today. I was born breech and jaundiced, weighing only 4 pounds.
Hard and sometimes terrible decision to have to make..
