I found this posting while searching Google. Though, I'm not a resident of Wisconsin, your advice sounds very good, so...

I've a couple of questions. One is about a this particular pine - and any others that might be suitable for indoor use. Pines are relaxing, but I can see where they might be difficult to keep. Where I live, there's a lot of sunlight coming in from the east and west, so I can position it anywhere for indirect and slightly direct lighting.

I tend to be sensitive to mildew/mold that can form in the soil -- as I discovered recently, when I bought a couple of plants. I wonder if there's anything I can do about it -- I'd be concerned about rinsing soil off the roots and repotting - it might shock the plant.
