Re: My fish rescue business is in danger. Can you help?
Woodman, I really do appreciate all your advice. Just so you know.
I have downsized on my fish load by quite a bit. Some large quantity sales to my wholesaler and other private individuals. I have pretty much ceased breeding of my angelfish for the most part. This is my only income to keep the business going so I can't stop all of it. But can limit on what I have til the problems get taken care of.
As for selling any supplies. I have one pump that runs all my tanks. To sell anything wouldn't be very profitable so I will not even go that route. That wouldn't make me or break me.
I have been trying hard to get my name out there. I have gotten calls from Illinois, Texas, Mass. all in this past week. I did get two small donations that came in, so people still are supporting me. I even had an email yesterday from the Shedds Aquariums inviting me to a Seminar. Which I cannot afford to attend.
I do admit Woodman, I am playing a very hard game of bitterness and the blame game. It was kind of hard not to when you see your dreams and all your hard work pulled from under you because of a someone like this contractor. I have found every emotion possible to man. Then I read a quote a new member posted and I emailed her thanking her for it. She joined on one of my toughest days and it really made me think. Hillary if you don't mind...here is what she wrote:
"Life's real failure is when you do not realize how close you were to success when you gave up."
BTW, I sent you a pm Woodman. Maybe one on one you can share some more pointers with me. Thanks again for the reply.
Kelly
