Just purchased trees and shrubs at Johnson's this Memorial Day weekend.
The nursery is about six times the size of the average retail nursery, and perhaps a dozen times the size of the seasonal nursery section at building supply stores.
It was a real treat to have a horticulturalist assisting in plant selection, instead of a part-timer with no experience or knowledge like you get most places. Huge open spaces and top quality plants with hard-working, knowledgeable staff made our plant shopping at
Johnson's Nursery Inc. - Wisconsin's Native Plants, Landscape and Garden Center Headquarters a treat.
The plants have all taken very well, aided by Nutri-Paks from
