Thanks for the ideas. I do have one contractor willing to try and fix whatever is wrong with it but YORK has to give permission as it is not one of their dealers. I can't find a YORK guy to touch this mess this other YORK guy did.

Guess I don't understand...seems as if the company York would have to send one of their dealers out whether they want to come or not. Aren't they contracted by York to work on their furnaces?
