I just noticed this was the featured thread...and I must say I am honored.
With all the bad going on in the world today, it was nice to sit back and write a positive thread as a proud parent. Kids grow up way too fast, before you know it they have moved on. I am so proud of my kids that words can't even come close to explain.
With all the budget cuts going in the schools, then they wonder why there is such a high drop out rate, drug or alcohol rate among students. Programs like this, teachers that teach and put in countless hours working with the kids is what the kids need. The schools are not the place to make budget cuts. I just hope someday it will be a wake up call to all involved that programs like this needs our support.
