<<Recieved from a friend on my Care2 site>>
One thing I found out about recently that got me really excited was the offering from Citizenre. Maybe you've heard about this already. It's a radical change for the solar power industry... instead of having to spend a large amount of money to buy solar panels for your house, they're offering to rent them to homeowners. It's basically just a different way to pay your electric bill, and it makes solar power affordable and available to any homeowner. And it actually saves the homeowner money, in addition to reducing CO2.
I was blown away when I heard about this... I signed up my house and I also signed up to be a sales associate for them. So far, over 26000 people have signed up their homes for this, so its an idea that's catching on. That's a lot of people who will be switching from fossil fuels to renewables for their electricity.
So if you know anyone that might be interested in this, send them to my website. A south-facing roof works best, but is not required. Thanks!
