Holiday Fest @ NEW Zoo
'Tis the season to celebrate "Holiday Fest" at the NEW Zoo. This special event promises to bring your holiday spirit to life! From the beautifully decorated Visitor Center to light displays around the facility, a festive time is sure to be had by all.
"Holiday Fest" is planned for the first three Friday and Saturday evenings in December from 4:00-8:00 p.m:
• December 7th & 8th
• December 14th & 15th
• December 21st & 22nd
Back by popular demand we will offer the opportunity enjoy a candlelit, horse drawn wagon ride thru the Reforestation Camp for a small fee. Wagon rides begin at 5:00 pm.
Santa will be on site each Saturday from 2:00-6:00 pm. Children are invited to come and share their wish lists and enjoy free cookies with Santa and his Zoo crew friends.
Don’t forget to feed the giraffes while you’re here either! They have been very good all year long and would love to eat a few crackers right from your very hands!
