How do you feel about the Reiman (now Reader's Digest) publications having ads in them? Seeing a Bush's Beans ad in the last Taste of Home was weird! If they get as cluttered as some of the other magazines I read, I may reconsider my subscriptions.

I have a large collection of cookbooks from very old to modern. I use to love collecting them and finding interesting things to make. But since I discovered Taste of Home cookbooks/magazines I was totally hooked. Not sure if I ever made something that wasn't great to eat.
But ads? I missed the last few issues and haven't seen ads in yet. This will be really strange. The one thing they always prided themselves in was the fact that they had NO ADS.

Too bad greed always gets in the way of great things and this new company that now owns it has to feel they have to change a great thing. Maybe they will be wise and just put a few ads in or perhaps make the last few pages where the ads fit so it won't mess with the flow of the magazine as we know it?
