We have a bunch of people from all over the State that must try an occasional fish fry. I have found that there are some great places that mostly the locals know about.
In your opinion, where is the best fish fry that you know about?
I have two that I will share.
First is Skinny's in Lake Geneva,
WI. This is a lightly breaded Icelandic cod in large tender fillets that comes with cole slaw, choice of potato and applesauce. You get a large quantity and can choose between a 3 and a 5 piece order.
Second is The Nimrod Inn in Athelstane,
WI. There are way to many choices to make at this fish fry. Some are blue gill, perch, walleye, trigger, cod or a combo plate. The salad bar is just one of those old style supper club salad bars that have numerous choices including soup and a big pot of buttered chicken gizzards.
