It was the morning of Oct. 11, 2002, and Larry Freitag had just dropped off his first grocery shipment of a long day at the Cedar Grove Piggly Wiggly store. He turned his semitrailer east toward Interstate 43 and recalled seeing "the most beautiful sunrise you ever saw in your life."
