Police Overly Ambitious
In the news, is where Ashland County Sheriff, stopped "everyone", going into The Red Clay Classic stock car race at ABC Raceway. Out of the 350 cars stopped, 288 citations were written, including several for DUI. This is no way to treat tourists, and as the President of the event stated, "they will take their business elsewhere." Now granted, there were some tickets handed out that needed to be, but to swarm down on people for no purpose is totally uncalled for. There goes alot of money spent by tourists, who will spend it elsewhere. The townspeople are up in arms over the whole deal, and it was a great mistake. Wait till next year when the racers do not show up!
