Back in the day... 15 years ago now, my husband and I found our first pet here and brought him home. He was a salt & pepper miniture schnauzer we named Dickens. His name fit him well. He lived a long and happy life until he passed away 2 years ago. I just wanted to say thanks Fox Valley Humane Society for making that happen. (Last year we purchased a black miniture schnauzer puppy and named her Schatzi to replace that empty feeling we had from missing our Dickens.)
