The Chris Kerr Memorial Road Race started in 1996 as the Championship of Barron County. In 1999, Chris Kerr was tragically killed while commuting home from work on his bike. Since then, the annual bike race that starts and ends in Cameron, WI will always bear his name.
Chris was an avid USCF category II racer who left behind a wife, three children and many other friends and family. Always a jovial fellow, he has and will be missed much by the many who knew him.
