I too know all about these types of scammers. They almost suckered the hubby and me in on the sale of our truck. (We allowed this because at that time the hubby thought it was the real thing.) So when we finally received a check after many pissed off emails later our bank checked the check out. Put it on hold until it cleared their bank. To bad the check they sent us to cash was bogus!
I tried to tell my hubby this from the beginning (it sounded to good to be true) but he wanted to go all the way and then try to bust them with the government so they could be prosecuted to the maximum. Anyway…Beware of who and how, even where you do business. I think scammers will try anything and use everything imaginable to gain access to our money. I think they have even used employment options to get you involved in scams.
