This of course is an interesting thought and I for one will have no problem not pumping gas on May 15th to help out.
But here's the thought on this of which I remember reading on another website forum a while back.
So everyone will agree not to pump on a certain day. That is good. But everyone will simply watch their gas gauge and fill up the day or two before to make sure they have plenty of gas on the 'no gas' day. So where does that really hurt the companies? They still get the gas pumped just a day earlier when everyone rushes in to make sure they have enough to make it through the day.
So not to sound as if I don't agree with no pumping, just wondering if it works in the over all picture?
But just to help out, I will certainly send the message to everyone on my email list.
