I heard a snippet on the radio news this morning, telling of a reason for the fuel prices being as high as they are. Seems some big nut oil minister dude was assassinated in Africa, and this caused a stir in the commodities market. The price of crude really spiked, from what I hear.
Another reason, a refinery in Indiana caught fire, and wrecked a major portion of their production facilities. They had to close it for maintenance.
One refinery?...One oily minister type?...I think it's a scam. High oil prices means high everything else prices.
