April 10, Go ORANGE for the ANIMALS in ASPCA DAY
GET READY TO GO ORANGE FOR ANIMALS ON APRIL 10
We’ve got our orange gear ready to go for next Tuesday—in case you’ve just joined us, that’s ASPCA Day—and we want to make sure you’re all set to go, too! We’ve been asking animal lovers all over the country to go orange for animals on April 10, and we know that many of you have been planning some special celebrations. Whether you organize a pet parade in your neighborhood, petition to get your town hall to light up orange, help your kids bake orange cupcakes to share with their classmates, or wear your brightest orange shirt, we’re counting on you to get the party started in your neck of the woods.
If you’re going to be in the New York City area, please come to our ASPCA Day Festival in Union Square from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. for an evening of music, pet tips, a chance to meet the stars of Animal Planet's award-winning Animal Precinct, photos with your pet, food and more. For more on the event, and for additional ways to help us celebrate on April 10, please visit ASPCA.org.
P.S. Don’t forget: Beginning April 11, we want to hear about how you went orange on ASPCA Day! The most creative and effective entry will win the ASPCA Community Leader of 2007 contest—and a three-day/two-night trip to visit the ASPCA’s headquarters in New York City! Visit our website for complete contest rules.
