A very long time ago, I was in Chicago on business staying at one of those motels in the burbs (employer was too cheep for Michigan ave),anyways they had a beer list in the lounge with Lienenkugel's listed in the imported section. I inquired of the bar tender
"WOW! do you meean to say that you went allllllllllllllllllllll the way to Wisconsin to Import Lienenkugel's ?". He did NOT find my q so amusing
but hey that's Illinois for you.
On another note I just returned from Arizona and had a few local micro brews.
Both were stouts.
In Flagstaff I had a Beaver Brew stout with chocolate and sweet like a Bock, very good.
In Prescott (forgot the micro brew name but the waiter was not friendly when I inquired about a cowboy brew, he said what is that?
I said not sure but with all these cowboys around here you should have one !!
Their stout was just ok nothing to think about repeating.
