Love to see kids get "hooked" on fishing rather than hooked on other more "inappropriate" pastimes like drugs.
My kids are only 2 and 3 and they are already hooked. My uncle got me hooked on it when I was 4 and I spent many a weekends and summers with him fishing for muskie on the Elk river in West Virginia. I never caught one,, had one attack the stringer of smallmouth that was hanging off the boat though. Quite a site for a 10 yr old to see,, this huge mouth full of teeth, just shredding the fish on the stringer.
I got to go fishing with him one last time before he died about 8 years ago. Probably my best memory of him.
