I just came across this picture and article again recently and thought it would be fun to add it here, (grandma's bragging again) lol
It was taken back in Oct. 2004. (my grandson is now 12).
Eight Year Old Makes Catch of a Lifetime
Eight year old Kenoshan Anthony Henderson got the prize catch of his lifetime in an area lake on Saturday. Pictured here with Dad, Lance Henderson of Zion, and their temporary friend, a 46" Muskie, which they later released. Lance is an avid fisherman and has many Muskies to his credit. Anthony, who frequently fishes with him, was proud to pull in perhaps the very same Muskie that his Dad once caught and let go two years previously. Lance keeps meticulous records of the Muskies he catches, and even the marks and scars on the huge fish Anthony caught makes him believe it's the same catch he made years before.
(note: even though the fish was caught in Illinois, my grandson lives in Wisconsin so thought it was ok to post this article)
