Captial Brewery Mai Bock
I was picking up some brewskis at Pick 'N Save this last weekend and checking out when the guy behind me said 'you really ought to try some of this" as he pointed to some Mai Bock from Capital Brewery in Madison. He said it is a seasonal that's been out about a week and some friends from Madison turned him onto it and he loved it.
I picked up a couple of six packs at his suggestion and I've got to say it is great! With all the work that goes into brewing the stuff I have a new appreciation, and I like the taste of the Mai Bock very much. It is full - a strong, flavorful presence that isn't the least bit overwhelming. The third and fourth (at home) went down just as well as the first couple (over lunch, then after work on Sunday) at work.
