My family is still picking up artifacts, FYI for those interested in scouting for arrowheads ask permission first...never trespass on private land. Not only is it discourteous but Illegal.
My family digs all rocks their all very Gneiss! I swear Mom and dad will have a Rock U-haul if they ever need to relocate. Anyone who has ever seen my parents garden and inside the home feel free to ask about the rocks, minerals arrowheads whatever we'll be happy to share the stories. My family can't take a vacation anywhere without bringing back rocks! Or photographs of geographic formations....Like the first year of the bubbler event in the Dells, when my dad and I left the group we were scouting the terrian with the camera in tow and yes I just had to have my pic taken against some beautiful Glacial Sandstone Stridations. God bless the Ice Age Huh  Thus we are Rockhounds.
